The Nichol Township Cenotaph (War Memorial) is located in Salem Ontario. This monument was erected after the Great War (World War One) and updated after World War Two. The location of this memorial is particularly nice as it is in a playground over looking a river. When visiting this cenotaph I cant help but think that the men that are named on it would appreciate the location.
